Welcome to my inaugural show . Yes , finally , episode 1 . I'm extremely excited about this launch because it brings a wealth of experience that will define my industrious career in commercial , retail and hospitality . What this means is that I've delivered solutions and consultancies to several groceries , supermarkets , restaurants , liquor stores , hotels , specialty retail stores and distribution companies over the last 22 years . I started this podcast to provide content that I believe will assist a lot of people who work in this focused billion-dollar industry .

I'm amazed by how many people I have met from different countries and superb cultures in all my travels , from hotel rooms to customers and vendors' homes , in which I will always cherish these memories and keep treasured for the rest of my life . I'm from the beautiful Twin Island of Trinidad and Tobago , located in the Southern Caribbean , home of the steel band Calypso and Soka Music . We also host the greatest show on earth , carnival . I love cricket a sport like baseball , football In some countries it's called soccer popdarts and swimming . I started my career at a local fast food chain chicken chain , royal Castle as an IT analyst , then moved on to IBM as a marketing dealer support assistant , in which I helped with promoting new products and services . Then I moved on to Illuminatron and Tobago Limited , where I moved from a key account manager to team leader of solution sales . I started my company Rod Plus Solutions 12 years ago with a passion to listen to customers and provide world-class solutions beyond their expectations . It's been a great 12 years thus far of industrial efforts , not only by me , but a great management team and employees complete a circle of success beyond this world like nowhere else I've worked before in my career . Starting with just one employee and then evolving into 25 , including contractors , is indeed an achieved goal that I can be proud of . Working with leading vendors and manufacturers in these industries also gave me the opportunity to work with expert customers who also lead the charge in this important business vertical . As anyone else , we've made mistakes , but we have learned from them very quickly and have been able to implement processes that not only assisted us but also our customers at heart , I recently moved to Miami to expand my business operations in the United States and Latin America .

I have a beautiful wife , zeo Melchie , and two amazing children , casey and Ronald . My mother always inspired me to become the best at what you love , and I did . My ambition comes from my father , ronald , who unfortunately passed away at 51 years of age , he still lives on in spirit of what he represents in my life . My son also carries on his name . I want my subscribers to expect a great deal of knowledge transfer and stories that will bring the experience of guests and myself into their imagination , from sunny sand beaches to inside corporate office decision making .

Interviews will be focused on how my guests set their goals and achieve significant success , not forgetting the fundamental importance of how they balance both work and their personal lives . We will discuss as well how these world leaders in their different industries energize the people around them , whether it's an employee or anyone they come into contact with . We will define how important relationships from both business and personal perspectives are an important asset to possess . Focus on how they overcome all challenges they faced on a day-to-day basis and how they champion the cause , providing tools that we execute to make our jobs and lives significantly better .
